Our "All Laser" LASIK Care Policy

Dr. Hyver is devoted to the lasting satisfaction of his LASIK patients, and to the long-term maintenance of their distance vision. While the results of LASIK are designed to be permanent and durable, if there is a change in the patient's vision performance, we're prepared to address it.

That's why we offer our free "All Laser" LASIK Care Policy:

If you're an "All Laser" LASIK patient, and during the lifetime of Dr. Hyver's laser vision correction practice, you experience a decline in your distance vision, then Dr. Hyver will correct it at no charge.*

Eligibility is simple: if you complete "All Laser" LASIK treatment with Dr. Hyver after March 1, 2005, you automatically qualify. And you're not required to attend and pay for an eye exam every year — or assume any other financial obligation — to maintain your eligibility.

* You can elect to undergo this secondary treatment (also known as an enhancement procedure) only if your residual refractive error is greater than 1.00 D and/or unaided vision is worse than 20/40; vision loss is not the result of eye injury, disease, other eye surgery, or the effects of presbyopia; and Dr. Hyver deems that the enhancement is medically advisable. Dr. Hyver reserves the right to choose the laser vision correction procedure he believes is most appropriate for performing the enhancement treatment.
