How Much Does LASIK Cost?

OUR FEES ARE BASED ON THE PATIENT’S TREATMENT TYPE AND VISION INSURANCE

It’s understandable if one of the first things you want to figure out before having a procedure like LASIK is the cost. But how much do your visual aids cost you annually already?

If you’re like most people, you spend about $500 every year on glasses, contact lenses, and their respective accessories. Your glasses are also delicate and may mean extra repairs or unexpected expenses if you break or damage them.

Contact lenses require maintenance. For many patients, LASIK means achieving better vision with less maintenance than contact lenses. However, there is no guarantee with any vision correction procedure, LASIK included, and enhancement procedures may be necessary for some LASIK patients.

LASIK is a procedure that corrects refractive errors. Some patients may require enhancement procedures to achieve the vision they want, which could require out-of-pocket expenses.

Make sure you do your research before choosing a LASIK provider. You want to build a foundation of trust with your LASIK surgeon. If you feel uncomfortable at any point before undergoing LASIK, it’s okay to go somewhere else.

ScottHyver Visioncare strives to provide the best possible eyecare to our patients. Dr. Hyver is an experienced and skilled surgeon dedicated to helping optimize your vision to reduce your dependence on glasses and contact lenses.

All LASIK procedures performed at ScottHyver Visioncare include comprehensive pre- and post-operative care and the guarantee that you’ll be treated and seen by a LASIK surgeon on the day of your LASIK procedure. All our LASIK surgeons are here to provide quality care to our patients, ensuring you feel comfortable from start to finish.

Make sure the LASIK surgeon you choose has sufficient experience, and they are someone who can protect your vision. The practice you choose for LASIK matters, especially when you’re considering if they offer state-of-the-art technology, if their LASIK surgeon has sufficient experience, and if they have a reputation that makes them worth assessing.

What Makes LASIK Worth It?

LASIK is an effective laser refractive procedure that millions of Americans undergo yearly. Most patients achieve 20/20 vision or better after the procedure.

LASIK has a 96% patient satisfaction rate, making it one of the most popular elective procedures available. Choosing LASIK is about more than clear vision. It’s also about improving your self-confidence.

You can feel better about yourself while saving money. Investing in yourself will help you have more for the things that matter most, whether that’s opening your first business, saving for a new car, or upgrading your wardrobe.
