How much does laser vision correction cost?
OUR FEES ARE BASED ON THE PATIENT’S TREATMENT TYPE AND VISION INSURANCE
Dr. Hyver’s fees depend on the type of laser vision correction procedure he employs to treat your vision error – e.g., LASIK, SMILE or PRK — along with any vision insurance discounts for which you may qualify. Your fee covers your surgery with Dr. Hyver and all of your pre- and post-operative exams, and also includes our Extended Care Program, which provides free vision enhancements and related care.
What types of payment do you accept?
We accept Discover Card, MasterCard, and VISA credit cards and debit cards, including medical spending account debit cards. And to help make your laser vision correction treatment more affordable, you can now spread your LASIK, SMILE or PRK payments over 24 months, interest-free!*

What vision insurance plans do you accept?
There are numerous vision insurance plans in the market, many of which provide their members with specific discounts on laser vision correction treatment and, in some cases, with a financial allowance that members can use to pay for their treatment. Dr. Hyver is a network provider in many of the major vision insurance plans including, among others, VSP, Aetna, Blue View, Cigna, EyeMed, Humana Vision, NEI, and UnitedHealth Care. If you’re covered by a vision insurance plan, and you’d like to know what type of laser vision correction benefits it offers, please give us a call at 800.454.2747 or ask your Patient Counselor at your consultation.
Can I use my flexible medical spending plan to pay for my laser vision correction?
Yes, you can use the “tax-free” dollars in your company’s medical flex spending account to pay for your laser vision correction with Dr. Hyver, but please consult with your employer on when and how to establish your medical spending account so you can take full advantage of this benefit.
